Fraud levels

FraudScore provides a unique approach to assessing traffic quality.

The system does not reduce everything to two categories — "fraud" or "non-fraud", leaving room for dialogue.

This is achieved through the "Fraud score" method. Each conversion, channel, traffic source, offer, etc., receives a specific "Fraud score" — a rating indicating the degree of advertising fraud risk in each case.

FraudScore analyzes 150+ fraud metrics and algorithms applied to the processed traffic and delivers results categorized by traffic quality.

Each metric has its own weight, so when a conversion occurs, it receives its "Fraud score" rating.

We divide traffic into four main categories and use colors to help users easily understand the quality of reports:

category color fraud score
ok 🟩 non-suspicious traffic
low 🟦 low risk level (1-2 violations), fraud score: 1-33
mid 🟧 medium risk level (2-4 violations), fraud score: 34-66
high 🟥 high risk level (4+ low-risk violations or 2+ high-risk violations), fraud score: 66+

Tip

If the Fraud score exceeds 25 points, we recommend paying closer attention to the traffic.

Tip

As a general rule, we recommend rejecting only 🟧 mid and 🟥 high zones (exceptions may apply only if we advise otherwise in an expert opinion). However, the client may decide to reject, depending on how strictly they wish to adhere to traffic quality standards.
